Job summary

Gordon M. Buitendorp Associates, Inc. is seeking interns for Summer 2027 to join our Team of Teams across Holland, Grand Rapids, and Royal Oak, MI.

Interns will engage with Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Structural Engineering disciplines. We emphasize a hybrid work environment with field and hub opportunities, and we begin reviewing applications mid-October.

GMB is currently seeking interns for the summer of 2027 to join our Team of Teams! GMB is a full-service firm, and we are looking for interns studying: Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Structural Engineering. We embrace a hybrid work environment, and internships are located in Holland, Grand Rapids, and Royal Oak, Michigan. Thank you for your interest! We will begin assessing applicants mid-October.

What qualities do I need to succeed in this role?

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's from an accredited university
• Willingness to learn and effectively communicate with various staff and clients
• A team player that enjoys a collaborative work environment
• A passion for learning and growth

What might set you apart from other candidates?

• Past internship or volunteer experience in the architectural engineering consulting field
• Familiarity with MS Office suite, including Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills
