Job summary

RATIO Architects Inc. in Champaign, IL seeks design interns in Architecture, Interior Design or Landscape Architecture for 2026. You will participate across all design phases and work within a collaborative practice on U.S. and international projects.

Responsibilities include assisting in concept development, preparing documents, and creating presentation materials while collaborating with a design team. Strong portfolio and proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite are preferred.

Qualifications

• In‑process of graduating from a college/university with an Architecture, Interior Design and/or Landscape Architecture Degree or with an Associate Degree in Architectural Technology or related field.
• Demonstrate a portfolio that has a very strong design aptitude.
• The ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
• Demonstrate skill in Revit, CAD (LA interns), Sketchup, Rhino, 3D Max, and or the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and InDesign.

Overview

RATIO is seeking talented and passionate design interns focused Architecture, Interior Design or Landscape Architecture to join our design team for the 2026 year. RATIO is committed to employing creative, self‑motivated design professionals who can utilize current technologies to achieve design excellence. You will join a dynamic and rapidly growing collaborative practice to work on projects throughout the United States and abroad. This position will entail involvement in all phases of the design process through SD, DD, CD and CA.

Salary & Benefits

Salary is based on experience and qualifications: $16.00 to $22.00 /hour.
