Internship - Water Resources Engineering
Woodard & Curran is a national engineering, science and operations firm that offers this internship to help students gain real‑world experience in water resource engineering.
Responsibilities
An intern will:
- Shadow experienced professionals and participate in actual projects.
- Contribute to projects on a day-to-day basis while learning from a team of engineers and scientists.
- Apply classroom knowledge to practice through experience-based learning.
- Work in the Sacramento office.
Qualifications
- Third-year or graduating Civil, Environmental Engineering or Hydrogeology student.
- Completed coursework in Hydrology, Groundwater, Fluid Mechanics, and Water Resources Management or Planning.
- Experience or interest in hydrology, groundwater modeling (e.g., MODFLOW, IWFM) and GIS.
