Job summary

SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA in Jersey City, NJ seeks a Trade Commodity Finance Back Office Intern to support corporate and commodity client servicing. Responsibilities include invoicing, applying accruals, processing payments, and generating client reports using Invoicing Tool and allTRA.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Legal and Front/Middle Office to ensure accurate billing, timely settlements and adherence to AML/KYC/OFAC guidelines in a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking back-office operations for trade finance.
• Familiarity with AML/KYC/OFAC regulatory guidelines.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing clients via Invoicing Tool.
• Applying accruals in allTRA (twice monthly).
• Emailing invoices to clients/agents.
• Apply funds received for invoices.
• Monitor past due report and trace for payment.
• Generate and mail client activity reports.
• Handle investigations for invoicing/reporting.
• Compile LSA/allTRA vs LIQ reports for the Team.
