The company leverages over a decade of advanced research in robotics and machine learning, as well as a field-test forward ethos, to deliver combined capabilities for unit commanders. Our OverDrive autonomy stack enables ground vehicles to navigate and operate off‑road in any terrain without GPS or direct operator control. Our intuitive OverWatch C2 interface provides commanders with precise coordination capabilities essential for mission success.

Role Summary

As an intern, you will tackle real, open‑ended problems that directly contribute to our mission of building autonomous systems for the most challenging environments. Working closely with a mentor and our engineering team, you will apply your knowledge and grow your skills through high‑impact projects.

You must be ready to stay focused, move fast, self‑direct, and learn on the fly. Software internships are available across the company within different teams such as Mission Autonomy, Perception & Machine Learning, Platforms, Behaviors and Planning, C2 and Interfaces.

Please note: these roles require you to work onsite at our Seattle location.

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or a similar STEM field

Mission Autonomy - Builds the core autonomous mission execution capabilities that enable ground vehicles to independently navigate, adapt, and complete objectives in complex off‑road environments without direct operator control.

Perception/ML - Develops the machine learning models and sensor processing pipelines that allow vehicles to understand and interpret terrain, obstacles, and their surroundings in real time.

Platforms - Owns the foundational software infrastructure, developer tooling, and systems that power the OverDrive autonomy stack and enable other engineering teams to build and deploy reliably.

Behaviors and Planning - Designs the decision‑making and path planning algorithms that determine how vehicles navigate terrain, react to dynamic conditions, and execute tactical maneuvers.

C2 and Interfaces - Creates the intuitive OverWatch command‑and‑control interface that gives operators and commanders real‑time situational awareness and precise coordination of autonomous vehicles.

Pay Range(s)

• Freshman/Sophomore: $28.00/hour
• Junior/Senior: $33.00/hour
• Completed Bachelor's: $35.00/hour
• Completed Master's: $40.00/hour

Your pay will be determined by academic level. You may also be eligible for relocation support.
