Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western is offering internships in the Tennessee region to prepare you for leadership roles on and off the jobsite. Interns will gain hands-on experience in project engineering and field management and may travel across the United States to work in various divisions including estimating and preconstruction.

Interns will be trained to become full-time employees after graduation, with opportunities to work on site or in offices, and will participate in

• Assisting project manager or field supervision staff with project coordination.
• Assist with estimating cost for change orders.
• Soliciting bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
• Scheduling of contracts and materials.
• Document control processes and records.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure compliance.
• Support safety management on site.
• Participate in team meetings and project reviews.
• Assist in drafting RFIs and submittals, and changes orders.

Interns will learn about multiple career paths in our company, and will be trained to become a full‑time employee after college graduation. Some duties and responsibilities include:

• Participation in team meetings

Qualifications

• Seeking a bachelor’s degree is preferred


• The ability to work a 12‑week work schedule is preferred


• Specific roles may require relocation
