Job summary

Proxima in Chicago invites ambitious undergraduates to join a summer eight-week internship from June 7, 2027, to August 6, 2027. You will work alongside experienced consultants on client projects, gaining practical consulting and procurement experience and developing the professional capabilities required for success.

You will receive a structured training program, a dedicated mentor, and exposure to senior leaders, with the opportunity to be offered a full-time Associate Consultant role after

Responsibilities

• Receive a structured training program that covers procurement knowledge and consultancy skills.
• Gain an understanding of the range of businesses we work for and learn about procurement consultancy from experts in the field.
• Shadow and aid client teams to identify improvements and cost savings for global brands.
• Collaborate with other interns on a client simulation, experiencing how consulting teams work together to solve challenges and deliver recommendations to senior leaders at the end of the program.
• Build confidence as a communicator through weekly storytelling and presentation sessions, with regular opportunities to practice, receive feedback, and refine your approach.

We are seeking aspiring consultants to join our Chicago team for an eight-week Summer Internship from June 7, 2027, to August 6, 2027. During the program, you will work alongside experienced consultants on client projects, gaining practical consulting and procurement experience and developing the professional capabilities required for success.
