Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill seeks a civil engineering intern to support design teams on site design projects. The 12-week paid summer program offers in-depth experience working with our Community Development group and real client projects.

The internship is full-time Monday through Friday with a hybrid work model, combining in-office collaboration with remote work flexibility. Prior CAD experience is preferred and learning opportunities are emphasized.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site design and land development.
  • 3.0 GPA or higher is required.
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs.
  • Prior experience with CAD software is preferred.
  • Ability to perform field work and lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic site and drainage designs.
  • Implement Sustainable Site design principles.
  • Assist with the preparation of local, state & federal permit applications.
  • Provide construction administration support.
  • Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro.

The Community group is looking for a civil engineering intern to assist design teams on various site design related projects.

Our internship program is a 12-week paid summer program. We offer in-depth work experience on real client projects. The successful candidate will work directly with the diverse technical experts of the Community Development group in a supportive and collaborative design team environment that seeks to maximize team member engagement. The position is **full-time Monday through Friday.**

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic site and drainage designs

The base salary range for this role is indicated in the posting. This range reflects the company's good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
