Job summary

Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana is seeking a hybrid Learning Management System (LMS) internship in Okemos, MI. The role supports design, development, and production of training content and maintains LMS content and reports.

Sophomore to senior students in business, instructional design, IT, or related fields are invited to apply, bringing creativity, strong writing, and comfort with Microsoft 365 apps.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in related fields such as Business, Instructional Design, IT, or Education.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps is required.
• Experience with LMS or content development is a plus.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and production of training content.
• Maintain job-aids and how-to guides for LMS.
• Provide daily LMS support and operations.
• Address system and user issues promptly.
• Maintain content in SharePoint, LMS, Articulate, and repositories.
• Assist with audits and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, development and production of training content and curriculum for our company
• Maintains job-aids and how-to guides for Learning Management System applications
• Provides daily support and maintains the ongoing operations of the Learning Management System and supporting technologies
• Address any system issues or user issues in a prompt and timely manner
• Maintain content within SharePoint, the LMS, Articulate, and repositories by creating and uploading modules and courses, course content, and running reports
• Assist with audit requests by providing relevant evidence in a timely manner
• Prepare, deliver and manage reports as requested from content owners

Minimum Requirements

Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Communications, Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, etc.). Savvy with technology and have ideas of how to incorporate technology into training and business processes.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Planner is required
• Working knowledge of the following technologies: SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, Snagit, Articulate, and Camtasia is a plus
• Organized, detailed, flexible, and able to manage your own time
• Experience with video-editing, instructional design, and/or graphic design is a plus
• High level of creativity to represent lengthy information in a format that is engaging
• Ability to communicate effectively and possess strong writing skills
• Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
