Position Summary

FYI is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Influencer Marketing Intern. You will be responsible for supporting/assisting with influencer campaigns for brand partners, influencer marketing proposals, and FYI’s social media and blog post needs. We are looking for candidates that are passionate about all facets of influencer marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities

(NOTE: we will work to tailor your role based on your interests, possibilities include the below):

• Influencer Manager Assist duties
• Build strong, data-based casting lists of new influencers, through thorough vetting, to create engaging content for our programs and upcoming campaigns
• Research, identify, and develop relationships with key influencers, platforms, and talent agents
• Participate in being the point of contact for influencer communications (i.e. Initial contact/outreach, inviting to join platform, negotiating rates, keeping influencer partners on deadline, sharing program materials, gathering concepts and content, reviewing concepts and content, monitoring and tracking live content)
• Attend and participate in frequent brainstorm meetings
• Account Manager Assist Duties
• Help build out project timelines and keep status documents up to date
• Help create insightful, data-based reporting of influencer campaignsDraft program progress updates
• Be looped in to brand/client facing communications
• Proposal Team Assist
• Use information from the sales team to create a proposal to pitch brands/clients
• Sales Team Assist
• Work with the sales team members to send out sales emails to pitch brands/clients
• Shadow sales team members during pitchesPaid Media Assist
• Reach out to influencers to get them set up for whitelisting
• Shadow our Digital Marketing Specialist to understand how paid media is set up and run
• Social Media Assist
• Help create content for FYI’s social media pages
• Write internal and external blog posts

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at an accredited 4-year university and eligible to receive school credit
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle many moving parts simultaneously
• Must have strong attention to detail and be a collaborative team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• MUST be a strong, self-starter adept at independent problem-solving
• MUST have a can-do and positive attitude
• You must be able to commit to the full duration of the internship (the full fall semester). We will work with you to develop an optimal schedule that fulfills your college’s requirements and accommodates your class schedule.
• MUST have access to a computer/internet
• Interest in Influencer Marketing

Preferred Additional Experience

• Previous experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word); Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Docs)
