Job summary

VCA Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center in Westchester County is seeking an Internist to join a 24 hour hybrid general practice/emergency/specialty center. You’ll work with a team of specialists in Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Dermatology and Cardiology, supported by a well-equipped facility and a network of VCA specialists.

The hospital features 11 exam rooms, three surgery suites, digital radiology, CT, ultrasound, in-house lab and advanced monitoring.

Qualifications

  • DVM degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice (state) or ability to obtain Residency.
  • Trained or Diplomate Board Certification expected.

24 hour/hybrid general practice/emergency/specialty center with a close-knit group of professionals. Participate in our ongoing clinical trials, ongoing learning and advancement. Disciplines such as Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Dermatology, and Cardiology. ER and support staff with tenure over 10 years.

Well-equipped facility featuring 11 exam rooms, three surgery suites, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, CT scan, ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house laboratory, advanced monitoring, ventilator, and state-of-the-art oxygen cages.

Located in the heart of Westchester County enjoy the excitement of New York City and rural beauty of the Hudson Valley. Great downtown area with restaurants, shops, cultural opportunities, hiking, horseback riding, and boating right in your backyard.

Network of specialists within VCA in various disciplines. Schedule Full or Part Time availability.

  • Compensation: The annualized base for this position ranges from $250,000 to $300,000 and is negotiable based on experience and credentials. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Qualifications
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in (state), or the ability to obtain Residency.
  • Trained or Diplomate Board Certification.
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
