Job summary

Jenkins Genesis of Leesburg is seeking an Internet Sales Manager to drive overall dealership sales. You will respond to internet and phone inquiries, and generate appointments from our customer database. Manage the business development department and staff, ensuring accurate CRM data and effective follow-up.

The ideal candidate is a people-person, energetic and professional, with experience in CRM and inventory systems, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience; automotive dealership preferred.
  • Experience handling internet inquiries and outbound marketing calls.
  • Experience using CRM and inventory systems; ability to compose emails.
  • Strong communication and professional phone manner.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to internet inquiries with courtesy and accuracy.
  • Market to existing customers and prospects using the phone system.
  • Enter all customer inquiry data into the CRM accurately.
  • Generate and confirm sales appointments.
  • Update JAG report daily.
  • Price pre-owned cars and check website numbers.
  • Review files, pull credit, process gift cards, lead redemptions, payroll for team.
  • Create used car ads and attend budget meetings.
  • Meet with vendors and keep website up to date (pricing & photos).
  • Manage BDC team including hiring and performance documentation.
  • Exhibit ethical behavior and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Job Summary:

The Internet Sales Manager will spend the work day on the telephone and computer. The ideal candidate will be a people-person, energetic, and professional. Focus on increasing overall sales for the dealership. He/She will respond to internet and telephone customer inquiries, and make outbound phone calls, emails and text messages. Manage the business development department and staff. Generating appointments and sales from our customer database is a main component of this position.

  • Promptly respond to internet inquiries with courtesy, accuracy and professionalism.
  • Use our phone system to market to existing customers and prospects.
  • Promptly and accurately enter all customer inquiry data into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Generate and confirm sales appointments.
  • Update JAG report daily.
  • Price pre-owned cars, mark w/s cars, check numbers on website.
  • Review closed files, pull credit, process gift cards, lead redemptions, payroll for team.
  • Create used car ad and attend budget meetings.
  • Meet with vendors, keep website up to date, (pricing & photos).
  • Manage BDC team including hiring and documenting performance.
  • Exhibit ethical behavior and provide the highest degree of customer satisfaction, and be honest in all aspects of dealing with customers.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • At least 1 year of retail sales experience preferred
  • Previous Internet Sales position at an automotive dealership preferred
  • Experience in taking incoming sales phone calls, as well as making outbound marketing calls.
  • Experience utilizing Inventory and/or CRM systems
  • Ability to compose well written emails to potential customers
  • Confident and professional phone manner
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and/or weekends.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
