Job summary

Withum is seeking an International Senior Manager for our Tax Services Group. The role can be based in multiple offices, including Saddle Brook, NJ, and offers leadership of multiple engagements and a path to Partnership.

You will review complex corporate tax returns, plan strategically for clients, and mentor staff across engagements, with travel as needed. Strong CPA credentials and 8+ years in public accounting are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license or Masters of Science in Taxation.
• 8+ years of experience in tax within a public accounting firm, leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Excellent analytical and technical tax skills.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

This International Senior Manager role will be based out of our Houston, TX, Red Bank, NJ, Whippany, NJ, East Brunswick, NJ, Princeton, NJ, Saddle Brook, NJ, Orlando, FL, Boca Raton, FL, Los Angeles, CA, Tyson's Corner, VA, New York City, NY, or Buffalo, NY office location.You'll work alongside an integrated team of seasoned, well-known CPAs and industry leaders. • Reviewingcomplex C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns
• Strategic planning for clients including advising on federal and state compliance issues
• Managingmultiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines
• Identifyingtax planning opportunities
• Conductingconstructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and providing counsel accordingly
• Servingin professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader
• Seeking and developing new clients/business

Thekinds ofpeoplewewant totalk tohavemany ofthefollowing:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license orMastersof Science in Taxation
• 8+ years of prior experience working in the tax department of a public accounting, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
• Excellent analytical and technical tax skills
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to client's management
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, and strong attention to detail
• Ability to travel as needed

The compensation for this position ranges from $150,000-$200,00. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
