Purpose and Scope

The International Representative can serve multiple countries according to the assignment given by the International Regional Director.

The International Representative is a staff leader who reports to the International Regional Director and serves as a ministry development partner and administrative resource for assigned countries. This role supports National Leadership Teams and country chairman through coordination, communication, training, compliance support, and operational follow-through, while functioning as a consultative voice without voting authority in the NLT meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Alignment

  • Align country support and ministry development efforts with the priorities, direction, and assignments established by the international regional director (IRD).

  • Translate regional and international priorities into practical actions for the countries served, ensuring consistency with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Contribute specialist ministry insight to National Leadership Teams (NLTs) on a consultative basis, supporting sound planning without assuming voting authority.

Collaborative Support

  • Serve as administrator and secretary to the NLT, helping ensure its smooth and effective functioning.

  • Support the country chairman (CC) in scheduling, strategy development, and membership management.

  • As requested by the CC or international field officer (IFO), provide inspirational training, guidance, and feedback to help country chairman strengthen and develop effective National Leadership Teams.

  • Support ministry activities, membership events, and leadership development initiatives as requested by the CC or IFO.

Communication and Information Flow

  • Prepare meeting notices, agendas approved by the country chairman, Books of Reports, country performance statistics, and meeting minutes for NLT meetings.

  • Maintain clear, timely, and transparent communication among country leaders, the IRD, headquarters teams, logistics, and other stakeholders.

  • Coordinate communication related to Scripture orders, delivery tracking, translation needs, and membership processing issues, especially when delays or problems arise.

  • Submit regular monthly reports to the IRD regarding performance, progress, needs, and key developments in assigned countries.

  • Support HQ’s translation team in proofreading materials.

Support Country Leaders (NLT)

  • Assist country chairman in developing strong, healthy National Leadership Teams that are equipped to lead effectively.

  • Support country leaders in maintaining compliance with local laws, registrations, and required governmental reporting by helping develop documents that align with International Cabinet policies and standards.

  • Help country leaders strengthen membership development by organizing or supporting membership events and follow-up initiatives.

  • Provide requested support for ministry activities, National Conferences, and leader training, including ISB and National Conference support, when requested by the International Field Officer (IFO) or Country Chairman (CC), and coordinate this support with the International Regional Director (IRD).

Organizational Continuity and Knowledge Management

  • Maintain accurate records, minutes, reports, and performance statistics that promote continuity, accountability, and institutional memory.

  • Support country budget collection and consolidation for IRD review, ensuring documentation and reporting are complete and organized without approving budgets or controlling funds.

  • Support Scripture coordinators to help ensure Scripture inventories and orders are properly monitored and managed.

  • Coordinate with country membership coordinators and headquarters membership teams to support camp formation and resolve membership processing issues.

Monitoring and Review

  • Monitor ministry development, leadership effectiveness, administrative follow-through, and key operational activities across assigned countries.

  • Review country performance information with leaders and provide constructive feedback, coaching, and follow-up support.

  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, or support needs early and elevate them appropriately to the IRD or relevant teams.

Partnership Between Members and Staff

  • Model a healthy partnership between volunteer members and staff by working with humility, clarity, and mutual respect.

  • Maintain a consultative posture that strengthens country leadership while honoring established roles, responsibilities, and decision‑making authority.

  • Build trust across cultures and teams by being dependable, responsive, and mission‑focused.

Parallel Structure

  • As requested by the IFO, the International Representative may temporarily serve in the role of country chairman to provide stability to the NLT in the country. During this time, he will report to the IFO while serving as CC.

Expected Outcomes
