Job summary

CVS Health offers a US internship pathway for foreign graduates to translate didactic learning into real-world practice in our retail pharmacy network. After completing the required FPGEC and TOEFL, interns work under a preceptor to fulfill internship hours and prepare for pharmacist licensure, with a structured learning plan and diverse patient-care experiences.

Qualifications

• Foreign graduate from a non-US accredited college or school of pharmacy entering CVS Training Program.
• FPGEC certification is required to progress in the program.
• Pharmacist licensure in the target state within 120 days of internship completion is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment and patient safety during workflow.
• Provide empathetic patient service and counseling under supervision.
• Support immunizations and other in-store services where allowed.
• Assist with inventory and prepare for licensure requirements.
• Travel between stores in the market as needed to cover shifts.
