Job summary

CVS Health in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate to begin a pathway toward Pharmacist licensure. Under supervision, you will complete the required internship hours after passing FPGEE and TOEFL, and learn to deliver safe, patient-centered care with the pharmacy team.

You will follow SOPs, assist in immunizations where allowed, and develop clinical knowledge while preparing for licensure exams and future pharmacist responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy prior to beginning US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program at CVS
• FPGEC certification
• Pharmacist licensure in the state in which the position is based within 120 days of completion of US Intern hours
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task over a period of time; pivot quickly between tasks
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist pharmacists and maintain patient care quality
• Communication Skills: use verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate prescription quantities and supplies
• Problem Resolution: handle patient or colleague interactions effectively
• Physical Demands: be mobile and able to lift and move items as required
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager

Education
