Job summary

PGL is seeking an experienced International Freight Forwarding professional to manage day-to-day shipment activities for key accounts from origin to delivery. You will coordinate routes, space, and documentation, and provide proactive updates to customers. A relevant degree and several years in freight forwarding are preferred.

Based in College Park, GA, the role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and adherence to SOPs to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of international freight forwarding experience.
  • Industry-related degree or certification.
  • Knowledge of transportation modes and shipping documentation.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Select shipment routes based on nature of goods, transit times, or security needs.
  • Coordinate space on ships, aircraft, trains, or trucks.
  • Prepare shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, origin certificates).
  • Provide status updates to customers and follow up with agents.
  • Process shipments with operations specialists and agents; adhere to SOPs.
