Job summary

Arcadia University in Glenside, PA, partners with Jiangsu University to offer adjunct mathematics instructors for courses in China and online from the U.S. Instructors will teach undergraduate math to about 60 students, with travel expenses covered, lodging provided on campus, and a per diem.

Compensation is on a per-course, per-section basis, with both in-person and online teaching options. Minimum qualifications include a master's degree or higher in mathematics and prior teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Mathematics or closely related quantitative discipline.
• Experience teaching undergraduate mathematics or closely related subjects.
• Ability to teach in person at Jiangsu University in China for at least six weeks or online from the United States for at least half a semester.

Responsibilities

• Provide undergraduate mathematics instruction to assigned courses.
• Hold regular office hours (approx. 1–2 hours per week).
• Prepare course materials, assignments, exams, and grading per Arcadia standards.
• Coordinate with Arcadia and Jiangsu University faculty for student success.
