JOB SUMMARY:Assist in the day to day functions of the Assembly Department with various stages of the assembly and subassembly processes in the International Assembly Dept. 1061.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:* Safety oriented (Safety First).* Deciphers job orders.* Read prints, charts, calipers and other various measurement tools.* Identifies and is accountable for various parts and material.* Complete basic forms.* Verifies accuracy of paperwork.* Prioritize job orders by due date.* Keep copy of the Production Job Order with parts* Adjust fixturing.* Periodically inspect tools and equipment for accuracy and or deficiencies.* Build main valves, sub-assemblies and solve valve kitting problems.* Drills, seats, presses, loctites, threads, measures, trims, polishes, washes, preps, paints, performs back pressure tests and sand blasts.* Sets valves* Be professional with a positive attitude.* Be willing and available for cross-training when work load requiresSKILLS REQUIRED:* Ability to function efficiently both individually and as part of a team.* Posses strong problem solving skills* Ability to pay attention to detail.* Ability to prioritize.* Able to be accountable, reliable, punctual, and have good work ethics.* Ability to be open-minded and learn new things.* Prior general assembly experience and strong mechanical aptitude preferred.* Class 4 & 5 Fork lift experience preferred but not required.
