Aluminum Dynamics is offering a software development internship located in Columbus, MS. You will work on real internal applications used company-wide, contributing to live projects with experienced developers.

You will build Blazor-based web apps, write C# and SQL code, and gain exposure to Azure services while learning Agile practices and the full SDLC in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in CS, SE, IT, or related field.
• GPA 2.7+ preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as C#, HTML, and SQL.
• Familiarity with web development frameworks such as .NET/TypeScript is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented with adherence to coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in real-world software development projects alongside experienced developers.
• Review, analyze, and modify software applications, including coding, testing, debugging, and documenting.
• Build and enhance internal web applications using C#, HTML, Blazor, Microsoft SQL, and Microsoft Azure.
• Design and implement new features to improve user experience, navigation, and system performance.
• Collaborate in Agile-style development meetings, assisting with planning, task division, and code reviews.
• Support software users by helping with bug fixes and IT-related requests.
• Gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
