The staff nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement, patient experience, quality and safety, and cost‑effective care.
The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.
2‑Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in nursing.
Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program required. Current Ohio license or interim permit. Experience in relevant care setting preferred.
