Job summary

Dynamic Aviation, Bridgewater, VA, seeks an Internal Quality Auditor to plan and conduct internal quality audits and drive continuous improvement within AS9100-based systems. You will schedule audits, verify corrective actions, and support policy updates to ensure effective quality processes in a dynamic aviation environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, plan, and execute internal quality audits in adherence to established SOPs and audit plans.
  • Ensure compliance to the Quality Management System (AS9100, AS9110, AS9120, etc.) and verifies audit actions are implemented and effective.
  • Revise, refine, update, and recommend changes to policies and procedures.
  • Assist team with issuing high-quality corrective actions by performing root cause analysis and risk mitigation, ensuring evidence supports audit results.
  • Represent Quality and support the team at audit and corrective action meetings and discussions.
  • Review corrective action submittals for acceptance and compliance.
  • Track, record, analyze and maintain trending Quality Assurance data and submit reports.
  • Communicate and present audit issues and progress to management.
  • Prepare audit presentation material detailing findings and conclusions and present to senior leadership as needed.
  • Engage in strategic quality activities such as process improvement and contract verification.
  • Collaborate with leadership and production to achieve efficient and accurate quality assessments.
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Summary: The Internal Quality Auditor completes audits independently or directs an audit from beginning to end. In this position, you will schedule, plan, and conduct internal quality process audits, quality system audits, follow-upauditsand other quality-related audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, implement, plan, and execute internal quality audits in adherence toestablishedSOP's and audit plans
  • Ensure compliance to the Quality Management System (AS9100, AS9110, AS9120, etc.) and verifies the audit’s resulting actions are implemented and effective
  • Revise, refine, update, and recommend changes to policies and procedures
  • Assistteam with the issuance of high-quality corrective actions that prevent recurrence by performing root cause analysis and risk mitigation, and assuring objective evidence adequately supports the audit results
  • Represent Quality and support the team at audit and corrective action meetings and discussions
  • Review corrective action submittals for acceptance and compliance
  • Track, record, analyze andmaintaintrending Quality Assurance data and submit reports
  • Communicate and present quality system audit issues and progress reports to management
  • Prepare audit presentation material detailing audit findings and conclusions reached as well as recommendations, presenting to senior leadership as needed
  • Perform quality-related activities that add strategic value to the business such as participation in process and procedural development activities, continuous improvement actions, process mapping and streamlining, and contractual program verification
  • Collaborate with the leadership team and production team to achieve most efficient andaccuratequality assessments
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field of study
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work productively in a fast-paced atmosphere without distraction
  • Must be able to multi-task with strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple departments
  • Ability to self-manage work independently and set priorities withdemonstratedfollow through skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ Years in aerospace parts manufacturing, maintenance operations or distribution
  • Experience working with an aerospace Quality Management System (AS9100, AS9110, or AS9120)
  • Previousknowledge and experience with aerospace including manufacturing, maintenance, or production
  • Working knowledge Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), including 14 CFR 21, 65, 91, and 145
  • Previousexperience performing quality audits, inspections, and root causeanalysis'

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel, less than 10%
  • Proper work authorization documentation to work in the US

Working Conditions

  • 7 am - 4 pm; flexible based on business needs
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and operating office equipment
  • Ability to view computer screens for extended periods, with close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching within the office environment and on aircraft
  • Ability to lift and move items up to approximately 10-20 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies)
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to maintain focus and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail
  • Regularly works in office environment and around aircraft hangars

Pay Band: $28.31 - $34.28 per hour. Starting pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity, and typically falls between the minimum and midpoint of the pay range.
