Job summary

US Synthetic in Orem, UT is seeking a Shipping Clerk to kit, verify, box and process products for shipment to external customers. You will work with internal and external partners to create a world-class shipping experience.

The role requires packaging to ensure damage-free delivery, preparing labels for FedEx/UPS/DHL, and accurate documentation. A high school diploma and at least one year with US Synthetic are required; the shift is 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Prepares finished goods for shipping including packaging and proper labeling according to signal.
• Separate specific product by quantity requested into final shipping trays
• Label trays properly as per customer specifications
• Inspect trays for proper quantity, size and labeling
• Package products to arrive damage free to customer
• Prepare shipping and billing labels using FedEx, UPS and DHL software
• Affixes Airway Bill on packages.
• Supply correct documentation for the customer, including any import/exportation
• Count finished goods quantities to ensure accurate inventory
• End of year count of all finished goods product (audits on Jan 1)
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Engage in continuous improvement activities (VSM, daily kaizen, R3, safety matrix)
• Follow all company policies (Attendance, No Tobacco Products on Campus, Illegal Drug & Alcohol, FMLA, Personal Appearance, Personal Electronic Devices, Vacation & Personal Time)
• Shift schedule is 8:00am-4:30pm

US Synthetic has an immediate need for a Shipping Clerk located in Orem, UT. The Shipping Clerk will kit, verify, box, and process products for shipment to external customers, while working with internal and external partners to create a world-class shipping experience for our customers.

What You Will Do:

• Prepares finished goods for shipping including packaging and proper labeling according to signal.
• Separate specific product by quantity requested into final shipping trays
• Label trays properly as per customer specifications
• Inspect trays for proper quantity, size and labeling
• Package products to arrive damage free to customer
• Prepare shipping and billing labels using FedEx, UPS and DHL software

Physical Demands:

• Required to walk, stand and/or sit for up to 9 hours
• Visually inspect part numbers, labels, pkg slips
• Lift up to 50-100 lbs.
