ECoVets Veterinary Specialists and ER is a privately and family owned veterinary hospital in beautiful Saint Augustine, Florida. We are seeking a full time boarded, or residency trained Internal Medicine Specialist to join our brand-new, state of the art multi-specialty practice.
Our hospital is supported by a board certified surgeon, board certified radiologist and board certified criticalist, and 24/7 emergency service. Our veterinarians are supported by a team of highly trained technicians and nursing staff, providing each patient with compassionate, individualized care. We are fully equipped with brand new diagnostic imaging devices including 128‑slice CT, fluoroscopic C‑arm, digital radiology, ultrasound, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, and endoscopy. The intensive care unit is also equipped to provide advanced critical care with mechanical ventilation, high‑flow oxygen, oxygen cages, and extracorporeal blood purification (hemodialysis, hemodiafiltration, hemoperfusion and therapeutic plasma exchange).
As an Internal Medicine Specialist at ECoVets, your role will include managing a combination of both inpatients and outpatients with complex medical problems and working collaboratively with our referring veterinarians and other specialists. The ideal candidate would have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively, be a team‑player, as well as be willing to collaborate in hospital rounds and continuing education for our staff, students and referring veterinarians.
