Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists is looking for an experienced Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician to join their team in Buzzards Bay, MA. This role offers the chance to work closely with board-certified specialists, gaining hands-on experience in advanced diagnostic procedures.

With compensation ranging from $22/hr to $32/hr plus a potential sign-on bonus, the position offers a collaborative environment focused on professional development and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a veterinary technician, internal medicine or specialty preferred.
• CVT, LVT, or RVT strongly preferred, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• Proficiency in venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia, and critical patient monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist Internal Medicine Specialists in diagnosing and treating complex cases.
• Perform advanced procedures including endoscopy, radiology, ultrasound, and biopsies.
• Administer and monitor medications, anesthesia, and treatments with precision.
• Collect and process lab samples for fast and accurate diagnostics.
• Educate pet owners on treatment plans and ongoing care.
