Sugar Land Veterinary Specialty and Emergency (SLVS) seeks a full-time Internal Medicine Specialist to join our premier multi-disciplinary hospital. Since 2007, SLVS has provided high-level referral and emergency services in a 19,000-square-foot facility, with a culture of learning and mentorship across clinicians and support staff.

Our team focuses on collaboration, advanced imaging and ICU care, and a commitment to excellence in medicine.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with ACVIM board certification preferred.
• Experience in internal medicine and emergency care within a referral hospital setting is ideal.
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative, teaching-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level internal medicine expertise in a multi-disciplinary setting.
• Participate in rounds and case discussions to mentor clinicians and support staff.
• Manage complex cases in ER and ICU to maintain the highest standards of care.
