Carson Valley Health (CVH) is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for the CVH Primary Care @Ironwood site in Nevada. This full-time professional role focuses on comprehensive medical care, preventive services, and patient-centered team leadership within modern care models.

You will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing care, maintain licensure and credentials, and collaborate with clinic staff, employers, and other healthcare providers. ACLS certification required; Nevada license active.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an internal medicine residency.
• Active Nevada medical license with credentialing requirements.
• DEA and Board of Pharmacy controlled substance licensure.
• Current board certification or board eligibility in internal medicine.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Strong communication skills with staff and patients.

Responsabilités

• Provide medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing patient care within the scope of education, training, and licensure.
• Lead patient care teams within the Patient Centered Medical Home and Accountable Care Organization models.
• Maintain credentials and licensure, and comply with clinical privileges.
• Document medical records in a timely manner in accordance with medical staff bylaws and regulations.
• Collaborate with clinic staff, employers, insurers, and other health care providers regarding patient care.
