Job summary

Mayo Clinic Florida invites an Internal Medicine physician to join its growing Nutrition team. You will work closely with dietitians, pharmacists, nurses, and other physicians to deliver comprehensive nutrition care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role emphasizes nutrition support, clinic-based nutrition consultations, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary group. Certification in Nutrition Support is preferred, with mentorship provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Certification in Nutrition Support (CNSC) is preferred.
• Eligible for Florida state medical license.
• Experience working with dietitians, pharmacists, nurses and other physicians is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide enteral and parenteral nutrition support.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient nutrition consultations and enteral nutrition care.
• Assist in the Enteral Access Clinic, including feeding tube management.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (Surgery, Interventional Radiology, and other inpatient teams).
• Participate in research and educational opportunities with residents and Gastroenterology fellows.
