Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician in Columbus, OH to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. Full-time or part-time roles are available, with a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule option and competitive compensation.

You will apply internal medicine expertise to manage chronic wounds, perform bedside procedures with training, and collaborate across specialties to improve patient outcomes while leveraging our streamlined documentation software.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school or residency program.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Wound care training provided; prior wound care experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal medicine expertise to wound care patients in skilled nursing facilities across Columbus.
• Perform bedside procedures including surgical debridement with training.
• Lead wound care initiatives and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support improved patient outcomes and documentation using our software.
