Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an outpatient internal medicine clinician to fill a locum tenens position in Tucson, AZ. Work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with no weekends or on-call requirements.

The patient mix is 75% adult and 25% adult geriatric, with approximately 18–20 clinic patients per day in a Cerner ambulatory EMR environment. The assignment focuses on chronic disease management, acute care, and wellness visits, supporting two PCPs who recently resigned and displaced ~2,200

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience with outpatient internal medicine and chronic disease management.
• Ability to manage 18–20 patients per day.

Responsabilités

• Provide outpatient internal medicine care in a clinic setting without hospital rounds.
• Manage chronic diseases, acute care, and wellness visits for adults and geriatric patients.
• Work weekdays 8 am–5 pm with no weekend shifts or on-call requirements.
