Job summary

Naval Medical Center San Diego is seeking an experienced Physician - Internal Medicine for a full-time role. You will provide comprehensive internal medicine services, oversee care plans, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a high-demand military environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current, full, active medical license in California or eligible for licensure.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency.
• Board certification by ABMS or AOA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of internal medicine services to adults in the clinic and hospital settings.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses with emphasis on preventive care.
• Coordinate with specialists and participate in patient education and care planning.
• Supervise and mentor interns, residents, and other clinical staff as needed.
• Maintain medical records in accordance with HIPAA and DHA standards.
