Job summary

Atlantic Medical Management, LLC in Morehead City, NC is seeking a licensed physician (MD or DO) for a full-time clinical practice. You will provide professional medical care, exercise independent judgment, order tests, prescribe medications, counsel patients, and participate in multidisciplinary care.

This position requires NC Medical License (or eligibility), DEA, BLS, and a commitment to flexible hours, with clinic hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required
• NC medical license or eligibility
• DEA and BLS certifications required
• Primary care experience preferred
• Commitment to ethical medical practice and patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, quality medical care to patients
• Exercise independent professional judgment in patient care
• Order and prescribe medical treatment, diagnostic testing, and other health services
• Prescribe medically appropriate pharmaceuticals
• Counsel patients and families; provide health education
• Refer patients to specialists for multidisciplinary care
• Document medical care with codes for billing
• Adhere to the principles of medical ethics
