Protouch Staffing in Winchester, VA is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join an established outpatient practice.

You will take over a patient panel of about 2,500, see 25-30 patients daily, and work a 4-day week with light phone-only call. No hospital rounds.

Qualifications

Role Overview

We are seeking a patient-focused, Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join an established outpatient practice in Winchester, VA. In this role, you will take over an existing, well-maintained patient panel of approximately 2,500 patients in a collaborative clinical environment centered on quality care and long-term health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive adult primary care in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Manage an established patient volume of approximately 25-30 patients per day.
• Conduct clinical evaluations, order diagnostic testing, manage chronic conditions, and coordinate preventive health plans.
• Collaborate with clinical support staff to maintain efficient patient care and timely electronic documentation.

Work Schedule & Call

• 4-day workweek.
• Light phone-only call schedule (1 in 8 rotation).
• No hospital rounds or inpatient coverage required.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified MD or DO in Internal Medicine.
• Active Virginia Medical License (or eligible to obtain licensure prior to start date).
• Prior outpatient internal medicine experience preferred.
