Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Tampa, FL is seeking an Internal Medicine physician to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. The role offers a no-call lifestyle with no nights, a Monday–Friday schedule, and options for full-time or part-time work.

You will apply internal medicine expertise to chronic wounds, perform bedside procedures with training, and collaborate with SNFs to improve patient outcomes while enjoying reduced admin time through our custom software.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Open to IM physicians, hospitalists, family medicine physicians and surgeons; wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal medicine care with wound care focus.
• Perform debridement and bedside procedures with training.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities and post-acute teams.
• Document patient care efficiently using our software.
• Lead wound care initiatives and improve patient outcomes.

• Full-Time Average Annual Earnings: $250,000 - $500,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)
