Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in San Jose, CA is seeking Internal Medicine Physicians to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role emphasizes a no-call, Monday–Friday practice with hands-on procedures and no earning cap for full-time or part-time work.

Compensation ranges from $250,000 to $500,000 per year for full-time, with per-patient and per-procedure pay plus quarterly bonuses. Training is provided to support wound care mastery.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligible).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcome; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds.
• Manage underlying conditions affecting wound healing (diabetes, vascular disease, etc.).
• Use advanced dressings and wound protocols to support healing.
• Collaborate with staff in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
