Job summary

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a part-time Internal Medicine Physician in Lexington, KY to provide bedside wound care across a mobile post-acute network. This role emphasizes clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive training in wound management.

You will work 3 weekdays per week (full-time 4–5 days optional), with rounds at facilities 40–60 miles away, delivering care to 20–30 patients daily and documenting in real-time using our EMR. Compensation is competitive with benefits.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• No night, no weekend clinical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in post-acute settings across facilities.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at multiple facilities.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day within a 40–60 mile radius.
• Document care in real-time using our wound-specific EMR.

Requirements:

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
  
  

Practice Overview:

• Full time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. Full time role is 4 - 5 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40 – 60 mile radius of practice location.
• Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound specific EMR.
• Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship
