Job summary

Vohra Wound Physicians in Harlingen, TX seeks a part-time Internal Medicine physician to join a national wound care group. You'll provide bedside wound care in post-acute facilities, with a typical 45-hour work week for full-time positions, adapted for part-time scheduling.

No nights, no on-call, no weekends. You will rotate across a 40-60 mile radius of practice locations, performing rounds and documenting in our wound-focused EMR. A W2 employment with benefits and paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted MD/DO license in the state of practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside wound care in post-acute facilities.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating 20–30 patients daily.
• Document at point of care using our proprietary wound EMR.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice


• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Practice Overview

• Full time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.


• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.


• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.


• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.


• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. Full time role is 4-5 days per week.


• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40-60 mile radius of practice location.


• Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.


• Clinical documentation is at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound specific EMR.


• Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship


• W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available)
