Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Austin, TX is seeking Internal Medicine Physicians to lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. You will apply Internal Medicine expertise to manage chronic wounds, perform bedside procedures, and collaborate with care teams.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one
• Open Background: We welcome Internal Medicine physicians and hospitalists, as well as Family Medicine physicians and surgeons of all backgrounds. No previous wound care or procedural experience is required; we provide comprehensive wound care training

• Perform surgical debridement and other bedside procedures, with training provided.
• Lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities in the area.
