Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Arlington, VA is seeking Internal Medicine physicians to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call, Monday–Friday position offers flexible full-time or part-time schedules and a high-impact clinical role without nightly shifts.

You will apply internal medicine expertise to manage chronic wounds, perform bedside procedures with training provided, and advance patient outcomes in a supportive, physician-led group. MD/DO and state license required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligible).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and bedside procedures including debridement.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing wounds.
• Management of underlying conditions affecting wound healing.
• Advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.

Internal Medicine Physician Requirements
