Job summary

Ridgeside Medical in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established physician group within CommonSpirit Memorial. You will deliver comprehensive primary/specialty care to adults, perform exams, develop treatment plans, and educate patients to prevent and manage chronic diseases.

The role requires strong clinical skills, EHR proficiency, and collaboration with physicians to optimize health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active or eligible License and DEA in the state of Tennessee
• Current AHA Basic Life Support certification

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical exams and take detailed medical histories
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (labs, imaging)
• Develop, implement, and manage patient treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice
• Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers
