The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center in NYC is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to support Internal Medicine specialists with patient care, anesthesia, and client communication.

This full-time role involves assisting with appointments, managing IV catheters and monitoring vitals, and collaborating with a large veterinary team across multiple specialties. AMC offers comprehensive benefits, relocation support for NYC metro area, and opportunities for VTS mentorship.

Qualifications

• NYS veterinary technician's license.
• 1–2 years IM experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and referring veterinarians.
• Experience in CPR and stabilization of critical patients (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Proficiency in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and monitoring vitals.
• Manage anesthetic procedures and emergencies during procedures.
• Provide anesthesia support for patients of all ASA levels.
• Assisting with all aspects of patient care from admission through discharge.
• Working alongside doctors and communicating with clients.
• Participating in research and educational projects.
