Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a full-time faculty physician to join the outpatient internal medicine clinic in San Antonio, TX. The position focuses on teaching residents in an outpatient setting with no inpatient requirements, offering a mix of clinic duties, resident supervision and academic leadership.

The ideal candidate is board certified or eligible in internal medicine, with excellent communication skills and comfort in a newly established program.

Job Summary:

Our established internal medicine residency program is seeking a full-time faculty physician for our outpatient internal medicine clinic in San Antonio, TX.

Qualified Candidates:

• Outpatient-only clinical faculty teaching position - no inpatient requirements
• Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required
• Comfortable teaching in a newly established program
• Must be board certified or board eligible in internal medicine
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• part-time-time GME clinical faculty role
• 1+ years of practice experience preferred, but will consider recent graduates from ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency programs
• Passion for teaching and delivering high quality patient care
• Mix of busy outpatient clinic, resident clinical supervision and teaching/administrative duties
