Job summary

The department of Internal Medicine at WMCHealth seeks a Physician for the outpatient practice in Poughkeepsie, NY. The physician will be responsible for managing and directing medical care, early detection of illnesses, prevention, and overall wellness.

The ideal candidate is Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, has a record of teaching and clinically excellent care; research in health services or quality improvement is desirable.

Qualifications

• Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Experience in teaching and delivering excellent clinical care.
• Desirable experience in health services, quality improvement (QI) or clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient internal medicine care in the Poughkeepsie clinic.
• Direct patient management and preventive care across adult population.
• Participate in teaching and scholarly activities within the department.
