City of Tulsa is seeking a Water/Wastewater Operator II to join the Water & Sewer team in Spavinaw, OK. The role involves performing lead work on major repairs and heavy construction projects in the water and wastewater systems.
Required licenses include Oklahoma Class A CDL with endorsements within six months of hire and a Class D Water/Wastewater Operator's License; Confined Space Entry and Trenching & Shoring Certification within six months. Hours are Monday–Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Must meet one of the following options or an equivalent combination of training and experience per Personnel Policies and Procedures, Section 100 1. (a) Graduation from high school or possession of a General Educational Development Certificate (GED); and, (b) Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience; including, (c) Semiskilled and skilled work in the major repair or heavy construction field with some lead work responsibility or one (1) year as a Water/Wastewater Operator II

PAYSCALE: Click for Labor Trades (LT)pay scale
Licenses and Certificates: Possession of a valid Oklahoma Class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with applicable endorsements within six (6) months of hire Positions within this classification require a valid Class "D" Water/Wastewater Operator's License
as issued by the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) within six (6) months of hire Positions in this classification also require Confined Space Entry and Trenching & Shoring Certification within six (6) months of hire Possession of Certification
