Job summary

Proton Group B.V. in Tulsa, OK seeks an Operator III for Public Works-Stormwater. Requires GED or high school, 3 years’ experience in major repair/heavy construction with some lead work, or 1 year as Operator II. Must obtain CDL, water/wastewater license, and SCBA/confined space certifications within 6 months.

Hours: Tue–Fri, 7:00am–5:30pm at 4502 S. Galveston Ave. Position is located in Stormwater/Public Works and offers potential advancement within the department.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in major repair or heavy construction, including some lead work responsibility; or one (1) year as an Operator II.
• Licenses: Oklahoma Class D Driver License; Class A CDL with endorsements where applicable; Class D Water/Wastewater License within 6 months; Confined Space Entry and/or SCBA within 6 months.

INTERNAL LISTING- OPERATOR III (PUBLIC WORKS-STORMWATER)

Training and Experience: Must meet the following criteria
a) Graduation from high school or possession of a General Educational Development Certificate (GED); and , b) Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in the major repair or heavy construction field ; including, c) Semiskilled and skilled work in the major repair or heavy construction field with some lead work responsibility ; or , d) One (1) year as an Operator II.
Licenses and Certificates: 1. Possession of a valid Oklahoma Class "D" Driver License 2. Class "A" CDL with endorsements within designated timeframes depending on division , some positions 3. Relevant Class "D" Water/Wastewater License as issued by the Department of
Environmental Quality (DEQ) within 6 months of hire, some positions 4. Confined Space Entry Certification and/or Certification on Self -Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) within 6 months of hire , some positions.
HOURS: Tuesday-Friday; 7:00am-5:30pm
