Job summary

Tarkett North America seeks an Internal Controls Manager to own and strengthen the ICFR framework across the region. You will design, test, and monitor controls to ensure SOX compliance, mitigate risks, and support audit readiness.

This role partners with finance, supply chain, and other functions to drive sustainable improvements. You will coordinate with the Group Internal Controls team in France to align with global standards, and lead remediation efforts while reporting to the Director of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-8+ years of progressive experience in internal controls or related roles; manufacturing/multi-entity experience is a plus.
• CPA or CIA preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and understanding of financial/operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, documentation, and testing of ICFR across North America in line with SOX 404 and policy.
• Maintain process narratives, risk-control matrices, and control documentation for key cycles.
• Plan and execute annual controls testing calendar; coordinate walkthroughs and evidence collection.
• Identify deficiencies, assess root cause, and drive remediation with process owners.
• Liaise between Tarkett North America and Group Internal Controls to ensure alignment with group standards.
• Evaluate control design efficiency and recommend process improvements to reduce risk.
• Support rollout of new/updated controls tied to systems, changes, or M&A.
• Deliver dashboards on testing status, deficiencies, and remediation progress to Finance leadership.
• Provide training and guidance on internal control concepts and testing expectations.
• Monitor regulatory changes (SOX, COSO) and assess impact on the NA control environment.
