About the job

As a member of the Executive and Internal Communications team, you will be part of a team which produces employee communications and events for Google executives. You will work with members of your internal client team on communications initiatives, projects and programs. You will support the work of the team to create strategic communications campaigns, come up with innovative ways to engage employees that are in tune with Google's culture, write communications, business update presentations and talking points. You will also collaborate with internal partners as needed across functions (PR, Policy, Legal, HR, Operations, etc.) and geographies.

The Ads & Commerce (A&C) Internal Communications (IC) team drives communications for senior leaders within A&C – the engine that fuels our business. You’ll define the IC strategy for the Search, YouTube, Display & Video Ads organizations to inform, inspire, and engage A&C employees globally with consistent messaging, stories of purpose, innovation, and growth. Your role helps Googlers understand how A&C innovations are creating billions of connections between people and businesses — enabling the success of millions of businesses, publishers and creators, while helping billions of people find what they are looking for on the web.

It's our job to help inform and educate users, advertisers, partners, opinion leaders--and our own employees--about the benefits of Google's products, our distinctive company culture/values, and our approach to the big public policy issues of the day. To succeed here, you'll combine creativity with organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously, as well as enjoy pitching to journalists, bloggers and commentators, or producing internal communications and events for our employees. Things happen quickly at Google and to get stuff done here you need to be an enthusiastic team player who can work cross-functionally and isn't hesitant to take risks or try new things.
