Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, seeks an Internal Auditor to join our risk-focused team in Louisville, KY. You will execute internal controls audits, assess risks, document processes, and test results, while supporting remediation actions with business control owners and stakeholders.

You'll apply professional standards, participate in continuous improvement of audit procedures, and ensure audits are completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with IIA guidelines and company policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Preferred CIA or CPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Execute internal controls audits and test results.
• Collaborate with business control owners to support remediation efforts.
• Document processes, walk-throughs, and risk assessments.
• Maintain audit evidence in electronic workpapers per IIA standards.
• Follow up on management action plans and monitor remediation progress.
• Coordinate requests from external audit firms related to controls.
