Job summary

Humana is seeking an Internal Auditor to join the Internal Audit team and support the achievement of strategic and financial objectives. You will execute audit plans, prepare workpapers, and deliver management reports with actionable recommendations.

The role requires collaboration with management and adherence to IA standards, including communicating results in written and oral form. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and at least two years of audit

  • Experience documenting process walkthroughs and identifying controls.
  • Experience leading meetings.

Join Humana's Internal Audit team and guide the achievement of Humana's strategic and financial objectives as an Internal Auditor. Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, you will provide value-added service by evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of Humana's operational processes. You will execute audit plans, prepare reports for management on the results of risk audits, and provide recommendations on improvements.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CFE, or PMP
  • Advanced degree
  • Data Analytics / Business Intelligence experience

Additional Information

Candidates for this role must live within commuting distance of one of Humana's offices. These offices are located in Louisville, KY; Washington, DC; Chicago, IL; Tampa, FL or Dallas, TX. We will require occasional in-office attendance.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$65,000 - $88,600 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
