Job summary

Google is seeking a Mid-level Business Process Auditor in Sunnyvale, CA, to join the Internal Audit team. The role focuses on reducing risk by monitoring the risk environment, advising business and engineering groups on controls, and contributing to product launches and system implementations.

In this role, you will conduct risk-based operational audits across Google product areas, collaborating with teams and leadership to strengthen the control environment and protect value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• 4 years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk or Compliance roles.
• Experience designing, implementing or testing internal controls and reviewing business processes.
• Experience developing audit programs and reporting findings with risk mitigation recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technology auditors and data scientists to develop and execute audit programs across Alphabet.
• Analyze audit results and prepare detailed, risk-based recommendations and reports.
• Oversee project workload, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely audit completion.
• Present findings to stakeholders including non-finance professionals.
• Manage relationships with Controllership, Operations and other stakeholders to influence risk prioritization.
